Caring for the Welfare of International Students

Pippa with student

Pippa's Guardians provides a guardianship service for parents living overseas who wish their sons or daughters to attend boarding schools in the UK. Looking after a small number of children based in schools in Central and Southern England, Pippa's Guardians has built a reputation for offering a highly personalised service to both parents, schools and students by taking a real interest in the welfare of students who come under her care so that they can gain the maximum benefit of receiving an education in the UK.

This focus has enabled Pippa's Guardians to develop a strong working relationship with both schools and host families so that overseas parents can feel confident that their children are safe and are being well cared for during the school term and holiday periods.

Pippa's Guardians is personally run by Pippa Hughes who founded the business in 1997. It is a fully accredited member of AEGIS, membership of which requires a detailed inspection of the business and its working relationship with schools, parents and students.

The Association for the Education & Guardianship of International Students

Pippa's Guardians is a most caring and efficient organisation. It is particularly strong in giving excellent pastoral care to all individual pupils from the time they come to this country and throughout their education here. Great care is taken with the recruitment and allocation of host families and in making sure the pupils are happy with them. Both office management and communication with pupils, hosts and schools are very good. Aegis 2006
